For Athletic Departments

Institutional memory that doesn't leave when your staff does.

Field is institutional memory for athletic departments — a platform that makes every program's records instantly accessible to alumni, recruits, fans, and staff. It reduces the questions your communications team fields manually, strengthens recruiting conversations with verified program history, and keeps your institutional story accurate regardless of staff turnover.

Why Field

History that works for every program.

Every program, equally findable.

Women's cross country and men's basketball get the same quality of historical access. Field doesn't tier by budget or visibility — every program your department includes gets the same product, the same verified answers, the same capability.

Zero staff overhead after setup.

Field answers records questions automatically. Alumni emails, recruit research, fan curiosity — handled without adding to your communications workload. Your staff focuses on what Field can't do.

Department-wide scope, one subscription.

One plan covers your department's institutional layer — shared championship history, honors, founding records — plus the programs you choose to include. Add sports at a flat monthly rate as your archive grows. No per-sport product silos, no capability tiers.

Accuracy that holds up.

Every answer Field gives traces to a verified record. No hallucinated statistics. No confident guesses. When numbers appear in an answer, they come from your archive — with provenance your communications staff can verify.

Questions

Common questions.

Who at an athletic department uses Field?

The primary daily users are SIDs and communications staff who need instant access to historical records. Coaches use it for recruiting conversations and program history. Alumni, recruits, and fans access Field directly through your website. The athletic director typically makes the purchase decision — the communications team and coaches use it from day one.

How do athletic departments make their program history searchable?

Field makes it searchable without building a database or changing your existing site. You provide your historical data — season summaries, rosters, game results, whatever format they're in — and Field structures it, validates it, and deploys a searchable embed you place on your site with one line of code. Alumni, recruits, and fans can ask any historical question and get a verified answer. Most departments are live within a week.

How does Field handle data ownership?

Your data stays yours. Field operates as a processor, not an owner. We never use customer data to train AI models, never share data between customers, and never repurpose it for any other use. If you end your subscription, your data is deleted from Field's systems.

What does Field cost?

Field is priced at the department level, not per program. Plans start at $800/month — that covers your department's institutional layer plus two programs. Additional programs are $200/month each. Founding-partner pricing is available for the first departments to sign on.

Can Field work alongside our existing athletic website?

Yes. Field is an embed — one snippet of code that works alongside whatever CMS or platform you're already using. It doesn't replace your website or require any platform migration. It adds a searchable archive layer wherever you place it.

What programs does Field cover?

Every program in your department can be included in your Field subscription. We add programs as you provide historical data for them — starting with two, growing from there at $200/month per additional program. There is no technical limit on how many programs Field can cover.
